Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has received backing from the squad, following another sweet victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils beat Mourinho's Spurs 2-1 at Old Trafford to pick three important points and serve the Portuguese his first defeat at his new club.
Speaking on Thursday, Scott McTominay revealed that they support their manager, and moved to quash rumors surrounding the Norwegian.
"Obviously it's our duty as players to go out there and do our utmost best for him and hopefully we can [put on performances for him] because we love him. We love him as a group as well," he told MUTV.
"Some of the points we've missed out on this year have not represented the level of performance as well, so hopefully we can keep pushing forward now as well."
Pressure was mounting on Solskjaer following dwindling results in previous matches but seems to be getting a grip of the side and they are recording improved performances.
It's understood that the club is willing to accord him more time compared to his predecessors, but will be tasked to ensure the team qualifies for Champions League next season.
United moved to sixth on the standings following the win, and will now shift focus to the Manchester Derby on Saturday.
