Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov is backing a 2-2 draw in the Arsenal vs Manchester City Premier League clash set for Sunday evening at the Emirates.
Freddie Ljungberg welcomes Pep Guardiola's side hoping to pick a second successive win, following their 3-1 success against West Ham last time out.
They face a Manchester City that has had a troubled season so far and lie third on 32 points, 17 points off league leaders Liverpool.
Both sides were in action in Europe in midweek, with City 4-1 winners against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League, while the Gunners drew 2-2 against Standard Liege.
“The Premier League title is now out of City’s reach but they will still give everything to the race, starting with their trip to Arsenal on Sunday," he wrote on his weekly column on the Metro.
“Arsenal were poor against Standard Liege in midweek before two late goals grabbed them a draw.
“You really don’t know how Arsenal will perform but I expect them to raise their game for City’s visit and can see them getting a draw.”
After the City game, Arsenal will play Everton while the Premier League defending champions will shift focus to the League Cup quarterfinals where they face Oxford United.
