With Kylian Mbappe linked to Liverpool, Fabinho has insisted he would welcome the Frenchman at Anfield and backed him to win the Ballon d'Or ahead of Neymar.
Mbappe finished as the Ligue 1 top scorer last season, scoring 33 goals and his form has rolled over to this campaign, netting 44 goals in 41 appearances in the league.
The Frenchman was linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window but Liverpool are now reported to be the front runners as he is keen on working with Jurgen Klopp.
In an interview with French outlet Telefoot, Fabinho revealed that he would welcome Mbappe at Liverpool, "Mbappe will have a Ballon d’Or before Neymar.
"I would like to welcome him to Liverpool. Sadio Mane deserved the Ballon d’Or [over Lionel Messi last year]. He’s the best player in Liverpool."
Fabinho added that Liverpool could repeat Arsenal's feat of going unbeaten the whole season, "Liverpool will be champion, yes. It’s the best team in the world.
"Finish the season invincible? There are no plans to lose. Klopp is the best coach in the world."
