Crystal Palace have ended Spanish midfielder Victor Camarasa's short loan spell and he has joined La Liga side Deportivo Alaves, Evening Standard confirmed.
Camarasa who joined Palace for a loan fee of £1.5million struggled to make an impact in the team after making one appearance in the Premier League and came off the bench in the side's 4-0 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur - he only featured for five minutes.
He, later on, made one start for the Eagles in a penalty shootout loss to Colchester United in the League Cup.
The 25-year-old's time at Palace has been dampened with injury woes and ill health having managed 32 appearances under Neil Warnock during the 2018/19 season.
Palace recently acquired Turkish forward Cenk Tosun on loan from Everton - they are still in the market looking for an additional striker before the close of business at the end of January.
According to several reports, Hodgson is also in dire need of a defender and Kyle Walker-Peters of Tottenham Hotspur has emerged as a transfer target.
