Premier League side Manchester City is set to allow striker Sergio Aguero to decide when he leaves the club, Daily Mail reports.
Aguero became the Premier League's most prolific overseas goalscorer on Sunday following his hattrick in his side's 6-1 win over Aston Villa. The Argentine's contract at City expires at the end of next season and he has previously expressed a desire to rejoin his boyhood club Independiente in Argentina before the end of his career.
The 32-year-old will be approaching his 33rd birthday when his current contract expires next summer, so that could be a natural time for Aguero to leave City. However, while it appears that the clock is ticking on his City career, club chiefs are reluctant to make concrete moves to recruit a replacement while Aguero is still at the Etihad.
