Leicester City travelled to face a stubborn and decent-in front-of-goal Brentford, as Brendan Rodgers' side looked to get through to the 5th round of the FA Cup.
The visiting team hit first and held on for about 87 minutes after Kelechi Iheanacho gave them a lead in the 3rd minute.
There was little action from either side in the first half, as Leicester enjoyed much possession, but had no end product.
Half-time: Brentford 0-1 Leicester City
Brentford had their moments in the second half and even went closest via Marcondes' strike against the post.
But the Foxes rode it out and are still alive in both domestic cup competitions.
For the Bees, today's game signals an FA Cup farewell to Griffin Park, but they have so much to be excited about in the league, with a mouth-watering clash against Nottingham Forest to come in midweek.
The Foxes move on to face Aston Villa in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final on Tuesday night.
