Media reports in Egypt indicate that Caf has chosen the Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca to host the 2020 Caf Champions League finals.
Unlike previous editions, this year's edition will be a one-off played at a neutral venue instead of the traditional two-legged tie played home and away between the two finalists.
in 2019, the final was marred by controversy over questionable officiating decisions in the first leg between Esperance and Wydad Casablanca - while the second leg was abandoned altogether.
It was after this fiasco that the African football decided to scrap the two-leg finals and play it as a one-off at a neutral venue.
Egypt, Gabon, Sudan, Morocco and South Africa had been touted as possible venues to host the prestigious match.
The official decision of the hosting city will be communicated on February 09.
