Posta Rangers and Bandari played out to a 1-1 draw leaving Twahir Muhiddin seeking his first win since being appointed as the Dockers coach last month.
The two teams came into the encounter in contrasting forms with Bandari having lost their last three games while Posta had picked up three straight wins.
Bandari started the game like a house on fire and almost went ahead in the eighth minute when Darius Msagha delivered a cross that was helped onto the path of Nicholas Meja by Wycliffe Ochomo with the former Mount Kenya United full-back releasing a powerful shot that cannoned off the woodwork.
The Dockers finally made their chances count at the stroke of half time when Shaban Kenga wriggled his way into the box from the left flank and made some space for himself before letting loose of a shot that rippled the back of the net.
Posta came into the second half guns blazing and almost pulled level at the stroke of the hour mark when Gearson Likonoh whipped in a cross to the far post that flew past Justin Ndikumana and Felly Mulumba but Ken Mutembei missed from close range.
Posta finally drew level five minutes later when a cross was floated in and Francis Nambute's first-time shot was too much for Ndikumana to keep out as the ball went in.
The game ended in a draw leaving Posta in ninth position with 29 points from 19 games while Bandari also stagnate in 11th with 19 points from 18 games.
Posta next face Chemelil on Saturday, February 22 while Bandari host KCB on Wednesday, February 12.
