French superstar Kylian Mbappe had a heated exchange with his boss Thomas Tuchel during Paris Saint-Germain's 5-0 Ligue 1 win over Montpellier on Saturday.
Tuchel decided to withdraw Mbappe for Mauro Icardi late in the game after he had scored PSG’s fourth goal a move that didn’t go well with the player.
On his way out, Tuchel grabbed Mbappe in a bid to explain his move something that the player was not going to buy; the World Cup winner appearing to disagree with his coach’s decision.
The exchange seems to have not gone well with Tuchel with the coach intimating that he was going to take action on the player.
"He is very intelligent; he knows what he is doing. He doesn't like going off, nobody likes going off. These are not good images, but we are not the only club that has to deal with this sort of thing.
"I am not angry, but I am sad because it is not necessary. I explained to him why we did this, and it will stay that way. I will always decide the technical aspects. We don't play tennis, we play soccer and we have to respect everyone,” Tuchel said in his post-match conference.

This isn't good at all, just a reminder that Mbappe still hasn't signed a new contract with PSG. 👀 pic.twitter.com/djRngUpyCD
