Eight African teams sealed a place in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals after Saturday's final round of Group Stage action.
For the first time in history, all the eight teams in the quarter-finals have won the tournament at least once with Al Ahly leading the pack with eight crowns.
Mamelodi Sundowns became the first South African side to emerge out of the group stages of the competition without suffering a single loss, with four wins and two draws.
Last edition's champions Esperance sailed through to the knock out phases of the tournament as Group D winners by virtue of a superior goal difference to Raja Casablanca in Group D.
