Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has insisted that Mikel Arteta is doing a good job at Arsenal following his move from the Etihad Stadium to the Gunners in December.
The 37-year-old has flattered to deceive since taking the managerial job as he has guided Arsenal to just one league win in seven games.
Speaking in a press conference after the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, Guardiola rated Arteta's start at Arsenal, "I know he’s incredibly happy there.
"He’s doing a great job. His team when I saw some games are doing really well and I’m so happy for him."
Arsenal registered a barren draw against Burnley last weekend as they squandered an opportunity to close the gap between Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Gunners next face Newcastle United on Sunday, February 16 at the Emirates Stadium in a 7:30 PM (EAT) kick-off.
