Bandari manager Twahir Muhiddin was left impressed with his side's overall performance despite a 1-1 draw against Kakamega Homeboyz at the Mbaraki Stadium on Saturday.
Bandari took the lead against the Western-based side in the 58th minute through Hamisi Mwinyi, but Benjamin Okech equalized for the visitors and deny Muhidin maximum points.
"I am impressed with the play, but we have to sharpen our striking. The boys did well, but we now have to build them mentally that's where we are lacking," Muhidin said after the match.
This is the third game without a win for Bandari caretaker boss Twahir Muhiddin since he took over from Bernard Mwalala who stepped down following a 2-1 defeat to Tusker.
They are winless in their last five matches, drawing twice and losing thrice in what is turning out to be a disastrous season so far.
The team is still stuck on 11th spot on 20 points after 19 matches, nine off 10th placed Posta Rangers who are currently on 29.
They next host fourth-placed KCB on Wednesday and will hope to grab maximum points.
