Burnley manager Sean Dyche has admitted that his former player Danny Ings' current form is nothing to new to him as he knows his qualities, Sky Sports reported.
The Clarets go head to head against Southampton on Saturday where Ings will meet his former teammates.
The 27-year-old has scored 14 goals from 24 appearances for the Saints this season and is currently the joint-third best striker in the Premier League.
He played for the Turf Moor side for three years before he made his move to St Mary's Stadium back in 2015.
"Really tough injuries he's had and a great mentality to get through them," said the Burnley boss.
"He has really found his fitness and his form. He's playing very, very well.
"[His form is] not a massive surprise to me. He's a good player, there are no two ways about it."
