πŸ”΄ How many more points do Liverpool need to win the Premier League, when can they do it?

Liverpool's march to the English Premier League title continued on Saturday as they battled to a 1-0 win against a resilient Norwich City at Carrow Road.

A goal from the returning Sadio Mane with 13 minutes to go was enough to give them the three points, which saw them open a 25-point gap over second-placed and defending champions Manchester City.

It's safe to say Jurgen Klopp's men have already qualified for the Champions League next season with a massive 12 matches to spare, underlining their dominance this campaign.

The win against Norwich also meant that they have won 17 Premier League games in a row, and are a match shy of pulling level at the top with Manchester City who hold the record of most consecutive wins in the Premier League, 18.

The last time they dropped points in the Premier League was their away match against Manchester United back in September, their only slip-up in the current campaign.

Jurgen Klopp's side has also won their last eight Premier League games on the road while keeping clean sheets in five of those.

The Reds now need five more wins from their remaining 12 matches to lift the title they last won three decades ago.

If they can win all their next five matches, it means they will be crowned champions away at rivals Everton on 16th March.

Liverpool's next five fixtures

  • vs West Ham (H)
  • vs Watford (A)
  • vs Chelsea (A)
  • vs Bournemouth (H)
  • vs Everton (A)

Can they keep their winning streak and lift the title in record time?
