The race for the top four has been blown open again after Man United beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, to complete a league double over them.
Goals from Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire, who was lucky not to be sent off early on, sealed all three points for United, though Chelsea saw two goals chalked off after VAR reviews.
A goal, injuries and maybe a red card offense by Harry Maguire.
This was the first half for us.
Chelsea suffered an early blow in the 12th minute as defensive midfielder Kante went down off the ball and was unable to play on. The Blues were down to 10 men for a minute or so before Mount was finally ready to come on.
Chances came for Chelsea but Batshuayi could not convert.
The goal came in the 45th minute for Man United after Wan-Bissaka sent in a lovely cross into the middle. You'd surely back the Christensen to get the ball, easily, but he was a bit tentative and Martial got up ahead of him to guide a wonderful heard into the far corner.
HT: Chelsea 0-1 Man United
The second half started off for Chelsea, as they were threatening, but had nothing to show for it inside ten minutes.
Chelsea found the back of the net in the 56th minute from a corner through Kurt Zouma but it was chalked off by VAR as Azpi was seen pushing Bradon Williams in the back while the corner was being taken.
United got the second goal of the match through a thumping Harry Maguire header.
Bruno Fernandes' corner was a great one, whipped in, and captain Maguire met it with a thumping header from 15 yards which nailed into the bottom corner.
Another Chelsea canceled goal came in the 77th minute after Giroud guided in a beautiful header from a Mason Mount corner, but he was slightly offside. So unlucky for the Blues!
Second VAR involvement on Chelsea's goals.
Mason Mount then came close from a freekick, but he was just as unlucky as Bruno Fernandes when he took it for Man United.
We, however, got to see Odion Ighalo for United as he came on in the 90th minute for Martial.
He came close in added time but 38-year-old Willy Caballero made himself big and made a block.
FT: Chelsea 0-2 Man United
Again, the VAR will be talked about after those two canceled Chelsea goals.
This, by the way, was United's first League win at Stamford Bridge since 2012.
Next up for United is a trip to Club Brugge in the Europa League on Thursday night, while Chelsea will welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.
