West Ham United are reportedly in the race to sign Amiens forward Serhou Guirassy according to reports from Ninetyminutesonline.
Guirassy scored a brace in his side's 4-4 draw to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) last weekend, however, the side is still trailing on the Ligue 1 standings.
West Ham are in desperate need of a squad overhaul if they are to survive the Premier League or better yet if they are to manage the stiff competition in the English Championship if they find themselves relegated.
It is going to be tricky for the Hammers to secure Guirassy's services if they're dropped from topflight as his current form this season will see him garnering interest from top clubs around the world.
Another situation West Ham have on their hands is that they need another striker who can change the dynamic of the attack; after record-signing Sebastien Haller has struggled to find the back of the net - six goals from 24 appearances is rather questionable for the 25-year-old.
Guirassy has scored eight goals and provided one assist from 21 appearances for Amiens this season.
