Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri has rubbished reports that he wants to leave the club because of Frank Lampard's 'controlling nature'.
Reports emerged early this week that the Italian has grown frustrated in recent months, and will be eager to move next summer.
The Italian has labeled the reports 'fake', suggesting he has no intention of ditching the London club.
"The world is going through a really difficult moment and there are journalists who want to spread fake news around to have content," read a statement on his Instagram.
"I don’t speak too much, but here is my only and last statement regarding this news. I never said that and I think definitely the opposite of what was mentioned (without my knowledge).
"Respect and gratitude always. Enjoy your family,"
The defender failed to make Chelsea’s last two match-day squads in the Premier League, with Marcos Alonso preferred in a slightly changed set-up.
He has attracted attention from Juventus, with Maurizio Sari, whom they worked together at Chelsea last season said to be keen on his services.
Frank Lampard is thought to be keen on signing a new left-back in the summer, with Leicester City's Ben Chilwell top on the Englishman's list.
