Former Real Madrid and Brazil ace Kaka has spoken highly of Sao Paulo starlet Igor Gomes, who is a target for the Spanish side.
Speaking in an interview for Brazilian TV show Jogo Aberto, Kaka compared the youngster to his playing days, saying he reminds him of himself.
"The comparisons are not good, it is too much pressure for him, but yes, it's true, his game often reminds me of myself.
"However, I don't think it's healthy to make comparisons, especially for him. I have already made my story and I know that a lot of people look for these references to compare.
"Igor will certainly make a beautiful story at Sao Paulo and in football. He is an extremely talented player," the former Real Madrid and AC Milan star said.
The 21-year-old is a household name in Brazil and is dubbed 'the new Kaka' thanks to his silky skills.
Gomes has made 31 appearances for Sao Paulo's first-team since 2018 and has also featured for Brazil's Under 23 team.
Real Madrid will, however, face competition from archrivals Barcelona, who are also keen on snapping up the youngster.
He will however not come cheap as he has a £44m release clause in his deal at Sao Paulo.
