According to former England international, Darren Bent believes that Rangers should consider making some money off Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos.
Leicester City, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are some of the English Premier League clubs believed to be interested in him while Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Sevilla in Europe have expressed their interest.
According to reports, Rangers are looking to sell Morelos for about £35million but Bent reckons the club would accept between £20m and £25m.
“For me, I know he’s an absolute fans' favourite and they love him but you’ve got to look at the bigger picture," Bent told Football Insider.
“He’s playing really well, his price is never going to be as high as it is now and he hasn’t had a great second half of the season.
“I’d try and cash in now and try get some money for him. If you get £20-25million you can replace him.
"If someone from the Premier League, £25million in today’s market isn’t going to get you a lot but in Scotland, that’s an awful lot of money.”
Morelos has scored 29 goals for Rangers this season while he rented 30 during the 2018/19 campaign which was considered to be his breakthrough season.
