Barcelona youngster Oriol Busquets admits he has already attracted offers but is keen to prove himself in pre-season.
The 21-year-old spent the season at Eredivisie club FC Twente making 21 league appearances before the competition was called off because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, Busquets feels that there is a chance he could force his way into Barcelona first team and avoid another loan move.
“They bring it to my agents, they have not addressed me directly. But yes, in recent days there has been news in this regard. We will also see if Barça has plans for me.
“Germany would be a good choice, and I would also be very excited to return to La Liga. But my intention is to do well in pre-season and give everything to stay at Barça.
“Yes, all these teams [Mainz, Werder Bremen, Hamburg, Cologne, Valladolid and Alavés] have been asking.
“My idea is to do the preseason with the first team. I would fulfill a dream if I could stay. I do not want to rule out this possibility.”
The youngster has featured regularly in central defence this season, which may help his cause when he returns , and also said he’s happy to play “where necessary” for Barca.
