Paul Pogba has been told to lower his wage demands if he is to seal a move back to Serie A giants Juventus.
The future of the French midfielder at Manchester United has been a subject of speculation in the past two summers and according to a report from Tuttosport, the Italian side has asked the player to lower his £15 million-per-year wage demand if he is to seal a return to the club.
The 27-year-old agent Mino Raiola admitted in February that the midfielder ‘would like to come back to Juventus’ but he is not willing to agree on a pay cut for the move.
Pogba is reported to have asked for £11m salary from Juventus but it is something that the club isn’t willing to part with on one player.
There have been growing reports that Pogba might sign a new deal at United as he desires to play alongside midfielder Bruno Fernandes but United is said to be open to selling their record signing if they can’t convince him to stay.
Pogba has barely featured this season for his team as he has suffered two separate injuries; the World Cup winner having been restricted to only seven games.
