The Spanish Laliga continued on Monday 15 June with two games taking place in different pitches in Spain.
The game involving Sevilla saw the Julen Lopetegui's team, who are fighting for a Champions League place next season, held to a 1-1 draw by Levante.
After a goalless first half, visitors Seville took the lead through Luuk De Jong less than a minute after the restart; the goal being the Dutchman’s sixth league goal of the season after finishing off Munir El Haddadi's cross.
Levante had other ideas and left it late as a miscommunication between goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik and Carlos saw the latter turn the ball over his own line.
Apart from the game at Levante, there was plenty of drama during the 2-2 draw between Real Betis and Granada with three goals in the last five minutes.
Carlos Fernandez put Granada ahead just before the half-hour, touching home the first time to cap a lightning counter and with the goal looking to be the decider of the game, a frenzy of activity was left for the closing stages of the game.
Betis levelled the scores through Sergio Canales' penalty then went ahead to take the lead through Christian Tello's cross-shot. Former Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado had the last say as he came up with a fine volley in stoppage time to ensure that both teams shared the spoils.
