The Champions League is back and no one should miss the showpiece.
With the coronavirus having forced a break when the competition was at its last 16 stages, the draw for the quarterfinals and how the remaining matches of the Round 16 will take place on Friday.
- When is the draw
The draw will take place at 12:00 CEST on Friday 10 July.
- Who is involved?
There are 12 teams and they need to be reduced eight before the quarter-finals.

- Bayern Munich (3-0) Chelsea

- When and where will the games be?
Uefa have decided to host a 12-day mini-tournament in Lisbon in August.
The quarter-finals will be one-off affairs, held 12-15 August.
The semi-finals will also be one-off fixtures, taking place on 18-19 August, and the final will be at Benfica’s Estádio da Luz on 23 August.
- Anything else?
Signings made for the 2020/21 season cannot play for their new clubs yet, so Leroy Sané and Timo Werner won’t be allowed to turn out for Bayern Munich and Chelsea in these games. Werner has also said he won’t play for Leipzig as they chase European glory.
The Europa League draw will also take place on Friday, one hour after the Champions League draw.
