Celtic join West Ham in battle to sign England U21 international Grady Diangana

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing West Ham United-owned winger Grady Diangana on a permanent basis according to The Sun reports.

Diangana has been on top form this season alongside Matheus Pereira who joined West Brom from Sporting Lisbon.

The 22-year -old has scored seven goals and provided six assists from 28 appearances across all competitions this season.

Celtic have also registered their interest in the England U21 but bringing him to the Scottish Premiership will depend on West Ham's willingness to sell him in the summer transfer window.

“I had a good chat with Gareth Barry about him and he says that he’ll go on and play at the top,” former England international Lee Hendrie told Sky Sports.

"They adore him at West Brom and I think they’d love to keep hold of him

“He’s been magnificent, easy on the eye and a massive plus point for West Brom.”
