News out of England and Spain reports that Mohammed Salisu is about to leave La Liga for the English Premier League.
As reported here on Futaa a month ago, Salisu rejected moves to Serie A and Ligue 1 in favour of his open dream to play in England.
The Real Valladolid central defender is now believed to have edged very close to a move to Southampton.
“Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu has agreed to join English Premier League outfit Southampton in the summer transfer window,” wrote GhanaSoccerNet.
“The 21-year old has agreed a four year deal with the Saints and is set to complete his dream move to the English top-flight in the coming days.
“Southampton have triggered the £10.9 million release clause of the defender, who agreed to move to the Saint Mary's Park for regular football,” concluded the report.
