Super Eagles’ new face Cyriel Dessers has described his partnership with Paul Onuachu as complementary.
Dessers, who was denied his Super Eagles debut by Covid-19, lit up the Netherlands’ Eredivisie before signing for his Belgian boyhood club Genk this season, a place where he has met up with Onuacho.
The duo got off to a flying start last weekend with a goal each during a 2-0 win over Zulte Waregem.
“Other teams will have to be good to stop us together, we both got a goal and the three points,” said the Dutch-born Dessers.
“This was a good start, although we also realize that it is only the beginning, It must be even better, even stronger and We are complementary and can play together.
“He is so strong and sure when the opposition is already tired, We can certainly help each other,” he added.
