Manchester United fans could be back at Old Trafford as early as next month after the UK government announced further ease on lockdown restrictions.
On Thursday, the government announced that some football fans can to return to football stadiums next month as part of their plan to gradually bring back crowds to sporting events.
The Mirror notes that fans might be allowed back to the stadium late in September as a trial with the Premier League set to return under a month; a larger scale of fans expected in grounds in October should the trial be a success.
