Leeds United have reportedly made their first offer for Basel striker Arthur Cabral according to reports from Brazilian newspaper Globo Esporte.
The report further claims that Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has approached the club's board to prioritise the signing of Cabral.
Leeds have tabled an offer of €18million (£16.3m) for Cabral, but Basel are believed to be demanding €20million (£18m) for their rising star.
The 22-year-old has been a breakout star for the Swiss Super League side as he went on to register 18 goals and six assists from 39 appearances across all competitions last season.
Cabral kickstarted his career with Brazilian sides Ceará and Palmeiras.
