English Championship side Nottingham Forest have acquired the services of Sheffield United midfielder Luke Freeman on a season-long loan deal.
Forest have the option of signing Freeman on a permanent basis should they choose to trigger that option at the end of his loan spell.

The 28-year-old made 16 appearances in all competitions for United last season, the last of which came at Newcastle in June.#SUFC 🔴
The 28-year-old has struggled to make an impact in the Sheffield United squad since signing with them from Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2019.
Freeman registered two assists in 16 appearances across all competitions last season and he will be looking to add value to Sabri Lamouchi's squad.

The former England U17 international has previously plied his trade for Gillingham, Arsenal U23 and Bristol City.
