La Liga side Villarreal are reportedly on the verge of securing the services of Watford left-back Pervis Estupinan according to the Watford Observer.
The 22-year-old did not feature in the Hornet's 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough as he picked a knock which he is believed will make a quick recovery from.
Reports claim that Villarreal and Watford are currently in advanced talks as they look to reach an agreement over the Ecuadorian's transfer to Spain.
Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion have also been credited with an interest in the youngster but no offers have been brought to the table.
Estupinan registered one goal and seven assists in 39 appearances across all competitions for Osasuna last season where he spent on loan.
