English Premier League side Crystal Palace has confirmed the permanent transfer of striker Alexander Sørloth to RB Leipzig.
In a statement, Palace noted: “Alexander Sørloth has joined Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig, on a permanent transfer, subject to international clearance.
“The striker joined Palace in January 2018 and made 20 appearances for the club, before spending time on loan at KAA Gent and Trabzonspor.
“Everyone at Crystal Palace F.C. wishes Alexander the very best for his career.”
It had been reported that Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho was interested in the Norwegian since he wants a backup striker for Harry Kane.
