Barcelona right-back Sergi Roberto believes the team is ready for what lies ahead this season despite the lingering effect from the Bayern Munich defeat.
Former Barca manager Quique Setien found himself without a job and Lionel Messi was also on the verge of leaving in the club.
However, Roberto believes the team has gotten over the difficult stage and are ready to revive themselves especially under the new management that is Ronald Koeman.
“I’m always confident we can win the Champions League every season. I trust the team that we have.”
The 28-year-old also touched on Riqui Puig's decision to remain at the club and fight for his place in Koeman's squad.
“It is very difficult to feature in the first team of Barça. It’s Riqui Puig’s decision. I decided to stay and fight for my place.”
