English Premier League newbies have made a bid for Manchester United winger Daniel James.
It is not the first time that the Marcelo Bielsa has expressed interest in the player with the Welsh winger having had come close to joining them during his days at Swansea before United pounced on the player.
Leeds agreed on a deal to sign James from Swansea on the last day of the January 2019 transfer window, but talks over a transfer ultimately broke down despite the winger travelling up to Elland Road for a medical.
The player, however, doesn’t want to leave Old Trafford even if it’s on a loan deal and is willing to fight for his place according to Sky Sports.
James had a great start to life as a United player early last season but his form faded fast, and he is now on the fringes of the first team with United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer preferring youngster Mason Greenwood to lead his attack from the right-wing.
With United still not giving up on the chase for Jadon Sancho, there is a feeling that James might fall down further the pecking order should the deal materialize something that might hamper his national team chances heading into the new year.
James started United's Premier League opener against Crystal Palace last week but was left out of the matchday squad in Saturday's 3-2 win at Brighton.
