Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have turned to Brighton and Hove Albion youngster Tariq Lamptey after giving up on Ajax’s Dest.
Bayern is in the market for a right-back and sees Lamptey as the player to fill that void according to reports from Sky Sports.
The full-back, who turns 20 on Wednesday, has been in fine form for Brighton this season and his impressive displays have caught the eye of the German champions.
The player who has represented England in the junior levels admitted that he is yet to decide on international future with Ghana having expressed interest on the player.
Lamptey came through the academy at Chelsea, before Brighton signed him in January on a three-and-a-half-year deal for around £3m.
He has gone to be a key member of the team and has started all three of Brighton's Premier League games this season and earning his side a penalty during Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Manchester United.
