Czech Republic tactician Tomas Trucha is set to be appointed as the new head coach for AFC Leopards.
Reports from Pepeta reveals that the current head coach, Anthony Kimani, is expected to be out to father his coaching studies that will be sponsored by the club; the side keen to have a person in place before Kimani leaves.
Kimani will leave the country next year according to those reports and the club wants their former player to help with the transition as he will be the assistant coach during the period he will be in the country.
Trucha last work was with Botswana side Township Rollers this coming after working in the country with Orapa FC.
Apart from his Botswana stint, he was in charge of South Africa’s FC Tygerberg and was an assistant coach at FC Zbrojovka Brno and Viktoria Plzen in his native Czech.
He is expected to arrive in the country on Monday 5 October to complete the deal with Leopards.
