The local-based players in the 34-man team called up by Harambee Stars head coach Francis Kimanzi last week has hit camp.
The eleven players reported to the team’s camp on Sunday with the team set to face Zambia this week in a friendly clash set for Nyayo National Stadium.
According to the Football Kenya Federation in a statement on their portal, al the player was screened for COVID-19 in line with the protocols sanctioned by the Ministry of Sports.
The foreign-based players are expected to join the team this week but there is still uncertainty surrounding the availability of Japan-based striker Michael Olunga and captain Victor Wanyama.
