Premier League side Chelsea FC is among three European teams interested in the services of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
Alaba is yet to sign a new deal with Bayern with reports rife that he wanted a new challenge after winning almost everything with Bayern but the club is reluctant to let him go.
Alaba’s contract ends in the coming summer and on Sunday, it was reported that Juventus will approach he player in January in a bid to sign a pre-contract with the player as they seek to wrestle other clubs for the signature of the player.
According to German platform Sport1, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid could battle it out alongside the Bianconeri for the Austrian's expertise.
Despite spending a chunk in bringing players this summer, Lampard wants to reinforce his defence and sees Alaba as the player who could solve some of his problems with his experience in Europe said to be a key factor.
Barca and Real would both be interested in gaining a wealth of experience too without having to pay an astronomical transfer fee for the player.
