Victor Moses is yet to complete Spartak Moscow move pending medical

Nigeria international Victor Moses' loan move to Spartak Moscow may have hit a snag following the delay in his medical.

Moses agreed to a deal that will see him join the Russian side on a season-long loan spell after he signs a one-year contract extension at parent club Chelsea.

According to Goal, Moses agreed to the deal after Inter Milan failed to trigger the option to purchase in his clause following his season-long loan last season.

In September, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard revealed that Moses was not part of the team's group testing for coronavirus which proved he had become surplus to requirements.

"We have a bubble at the training ground with the first-team squad, which Victor hasn’t been part of. I know Victor well and we will see how that develops," Lampard said.

The Blues are yet to secure loan moves for wantaway Danny Drinkwater, Jake Clarke-Salter and Ghana international Baba Rahman.

The Russian transfer window is set to conclude on Saturday, October 17.
