Manchester United midfielder has slammed reports claiming he has hung up his international boots following French President Emmanuel Macron's comments about radical Islam.
According to reports from The Sun, Pogba wanted to call time on his France national team career after Macron announced he would fight the Islamic radicals after the October 16 beheading of a history teacher Samuel Paty.
"Unacceptable, fake news," Pogba, a converted Muslim, said on Twitter with a screenshot of The Sun's article.
Paty is believed to have shown cartoons of the Prophet Mohamed to his class during a discussion on free speech in a school near Paris.
Pogba is a 2018 World Cup winner with France and the Les Bleus will take on Finland in a friendly on November 11.
