πŸ€– Champions League betting preview: Tips for Tuesday

It's matchday 2 of the 2020-21 Champions League group stages and there are plenty of appealing betting opportunities.

We've run the rule over Tuesday's group games with mini previews and our picks.

🗓 UCL matchday 2

🏟 Lokomotiv vs Bayern

Lokomotiv Moscow has lost eight of their last nine matches against German opposition in all European competition while Bayern opened up their title defence with a clinical 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid.

TIP: Bayern win & over 2.5 goals

🏟 Shakhtar vs Inter

Inter's 2-2 result against Monchengladbach on matchday 1 became the eighth of their last ten UEFA matches, UCL or UEL, to have produced at least three goals - with five of those eight clearing 3.5 total goals. Shakhtar has now conceded at least two goals in ten of their 13 UCL group stage games since the beginning of 2018-19 so goals are on the cards here.

TIP: Over 2.5 goals

🏟 Marseille vs Man City

Both teams have scored in each of Man City’s last eight UEFA Champions League fixtures, with the Citizens now on their longest wait for a clean sheet in the competition since between February 2015 & 2016 (nine matches).

TIP: Both teams to score

🏟 Monchengladbach vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid hasn't kept a clean sheet in any of their last three matches, while Monchengladbach has scored twice or more in five of their last eight across all competitions.

TIP: Over 2.5 goals

🏟 Atalanta vs Ajax

Atalanta’s games are generally entertaining affairs, with all six of their competitive fixtures this season producing over 3.5 goals, and five seeing both teams score (W4, L2). More of the same looks likely here against an Ajax side arriving off the back of an outrageous 13-0 win over Venlo in the Eredivisie.

TIP: Over 3.5 goals
