Real Madrid will miss the services of captain Sergio Ramos who is on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.
Ramos sustained a muscle injury hamstring while on international duty during Spain's victory over Germany. The Spaniard is set to miss clashes against Villareal and Italian side Inter Milan.
"After the tests carried out today on our player Sergio Ramos by the medical services of Real Madrid, he was diagnosed with a hamstring injury in his right leg. Waiting for evolution," a statement from the club read.
The Los Blancos have however been handed a major boost with Eden Hazard resuming training after recovering from COVID-19. Brazilian Eder Militao also joined Madrid's squad after having tested negative for Coronavirus as happened with Casemiro on Wednesday.
