Leicester stunned at home by brave Fulham

Leicester City suffered their second successive Premier League defeat after a shocking 2-1 home loss to Fulham on Monday night.

Brendan Rodgers' men were looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat against Liverpool last time out but came stuck against Scott Parker's men at the King Power Stadium.

The visitors took the lead through Ademola Lookman's goal in the 30th minute, after a wonderful counter-attack that totally exposed their backline.

Lookman then paid tribute to former Senegal international Papa Diop, who died on Sunday evening aged 42 after a long illness.

The Whites then got the chance to score a second in the 38th minute, after Decordova-Reid went down in the penalty area under a challenge from Fuchs.

The referee consulted the VAR and after a few moments, awarded the penalty, which was easily converted by Ivan Cavaleiro.

The second half was an evenly balanced affair, with Kasper Schmeichel making a number of saves to deny the visitors from extending their lead.

The hosts then went all out in search of a goal, and their efforts were rewarded when Harvey Barnes, who came on as a second-half substitute, rifled home in the 86th minute, but it only proved to be a consolation as the visitors held on to win 2-1.

The score could have been different though had the Foxes converted their 19th-minute effort, hitting the crossbar and then the post in a matter of seconds.

The win, their second of the season, saw Fulham move from the relegation zone, while Leicester remained fourth on the table.
