Direct goal contributions (goals & assists) are the most important metrics by which decisive attacking players are judged when all is said and done.
After ten rounds of the Premier League season, Spurs' talismanic number 10 Harry Kane is proving his weight in gold as he continues to supply goal-scoring chances for teammates, while also getting on the score sheet regularly himself.
📊 Most direct goal contributions in the #EPL this season:— Futaa.com (@Futaacom) December 1, 2020
🏴 Harry Kane: 16
🇰🇷 Heung-min Son: 11
🏴 Jack Grealish: 10
🏴 Dominic Calvert-Lewin: 10
🇵🇹 Bruno Fernandes: 10
🏴 Jamie Vardy: 10

Kane has supplied nine assists this season in the Premier League, to go along with his tally of seven goals, making him by far the most productive player in the top-flight at this early stage. He and Spurs teammate Son Heung-min have now combined for 28 Premier League goals in their Spurs careers. Eight more combinations between the star pair will make them the most prolific combination in the competition's history. That mark of 36 is currently set by Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard from their time at Chelsea.
Jack Grealish's fine start to the season for club and country has enhanced his reputation even more, with the Villa skipper scoring five and assisting five in nine games so far, meaning that he has a game in hand on most of his rivals in this list.
Unfortunately for Grealish, Villa's match against Newcastle United, initially scheduled for Friday night, has been postponed because of a COVID breakout in the Magpies squad.
With that being said, Saturday's early kickoff between Burnley and Everton is the next episode of Premier League drama to which we can look forward.
