TEAM NEWS: Edinson Cavani start for Man United against PSG, Pogba on the bench

Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani has been handed a start against Paris Saint-Germain in the fifth game of the Champions League group stage. 

Edinson Cavani has given a chance to show what PSG are missing from the start for United in one of three changes from 3-2 victory over Southampton. 

Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial are the other two changes. Those three replace Nemanja Matic, Donny van de Beek and Mason Greenwood. David de Gea retains his place in goal despite suffering an injury at St Mary’s.

Man United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles, McTominay, Fred, Rashford, Fernandes, Martial, Cavani

Subs: Henderson, Bailly, Fosu-Mensah, Williams, James, Lingard, Mata, Pogba, Van De Beek, Greenwood, Ighalo

PSG XI: Navas, Florenzi, Marquinhos, Diallo, Kimpembe, Verratti, Danilo, Parades, Neymar, Mbappe, Kean.
