Frenchman Olivier Giroud scored all the four goals as Chelsea ran 4-0 winners over Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
According to stats from Opta, Giroud became the first-ever player to score four goals in one game for Chelsea in the Champions League.
In the outing and with the goals, Giroud also became the first player in Chelsea colours to score four goals in a game since Frank Lampard in March 2010 vs Aston Villa.
On top of the records, the 34-year-old became the oldest player ever to score a hat-trick in the Champions League since it changed from the European Cup format.
