🚨 Pogba fires Man United back to the Premier League summit with win at Craven Cottage

Manchester United moved back to the top of the English Premier League table with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Fulham on Wednesday night.

Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba scored a goal each on either side of Ademola Lookman's early strike to give the Reds maximum points and back to the top of the table.

Coach Ole Gunnar Solskajer made three changes to his side, with Eric Bailly, Edinson Cavani, and Mason Greenwood all recalled.

It was the hosts though who got off the blocks first, and they grabbed an opener after just five minutes as Lookman beat the offside trap to find the back of the net with a cool finish.

Both teams had a number of chances to find the net in the opening quarter, and it was United that took advantage of their possession.

The striker fired the rebound into the bottom left corner after the ball broke to him in the box.

The Reds however had to wait until the 65th minute for the winner, and it was a beauty as Pogba found the back of the net with a sumptuous left-footer.

The hosts almost equalised in the dying minutes of the match, but Aleksandar Mitrovic could not find the back of the net thanks to a goal-line clearance.

Solskjaer's men are now 17 games unbeaten on the road and picked another come-from-behind victory.

The Reds went into the match in third place on the night, following Leicester and Manchester City's wins, with the latter coming earlier in the night.

They now lead the standings on 40 points, two ahead of neighbors Man City and Leicester.
