Laliga giants FC Barcelona have confirmed a new date for their forthcoming Presidential election.
The elections were earlier scheduled to take place on January 24, 2020, but that has since been changed to March 7 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Barcelona have been operating without a President for the past four months after the resignation of Josep Maria Bartomeu. The seat has attracted three candidates in Joan Laporta, Victor Font, and Toni Freixa.
In the forthcoming elections, the club has been given permission to allow postal voting, something that has not been possible in previous elections.
A total of 110000 club members are allowed to vote in the process and in addition to postal votes, there will be six polling stations across Catalonia and Andorra for members to vote on the day.
