Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has openly said he dreams of seeing Ahmed Musa playing in the Premier League.
As reported here on Futaa several weeks ago, the 28-year-old Musa is on the verge of signing for the Premier League strugglers.
While the club’s coach Sam Alardyce confirmed the club are working around the clock to seal the deal for the former Leicester City winger, the club is reportedly focused on balancing the financial books first.
Meanwhile, Musa’s national team coach, Rohr, is praying for the finalization of the move.
“We are in touch with our captain, he is in the UK now,” Rohr said via Brila.
“It’s not so easy to change during the season but he is free to sign where he wants and there’s no obligation to respect the transfer window for him because he was free already.
“I am very hopeful that he can sign in the next few days. He wanted to go back to Europe and to play in England so it’s not easy during the season but I’m hopeful that he can sign for the club,” the German concluded.
