Manchester United could be without Scott McTominay for the weekend Premier League match against Newcastle after he was withdrawn in the 4-0 win over Real Sociedad.
The midfielder had been a doubt for the match, but started and played for an hour before he was withdrawn and replaced by Nemanja Matic.
Despite not being 100 percent fit, Scott put in a strong performance and came close to scoring in the first half, forcing a smart save from the goalie.
He will not be the only injury concern ahead of the match against the Magpies, with Edinson Cavani, Donny van de Beek, as well as Paul Pogba all missing the match against Sociedad.
Should McTominay be unavailable for the tie against the Magpies, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be left with only Matic and Fred in the middle of the park.
United will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways, following a poor run in recent matches.
The Reds are second with 46 points, 10 behind league leaders and City rivals Man City, who have been in scintillating form in recent weeks.
Newcastle, on the other hand, are 17th on the table and have won two of their last five matches, losing the other three.
