🔴 Who are the five most productive Arsenal players this season?

Gunners faithful will be hopeful that the current campaign can finish in a positive manner after a topsy-turvy season that has contained more disappointments than it has successes.

Mikel Arteta's men are still in the Europa League and in with an outside chance of qualifying for Europe next season via their league position.

Club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and French forward Alex Lacazette currently lead the way for most direct goal involvements (goals & assists combined) this term.

🔴 Direct goal involvements in all competitions

  • 🇬🇦 P-E. Aubameyang - 14
  • 🇫🇷 A. Lacazette - 14
  • 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 B. Saka - 12
  • 🇨🇮 N. Pépé - 11
  • 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 E. Smith Rowe - 8

Aubameyang's goals have arrived in clusters. A hat-trick against Leeds in the Premier League, his first ever in the top-flight, was followed by two matches without a goal. However, the Gabonese superstar hit a crucial brace against Benfica to send the Gunners into the last 16 of the Europa League.

Aubameyang's friend and fellow striker Alex Lacazette has been in and out of the side but his away form of late has been exemplary, with five goals & two assists in his last six matches on the road in the Premier League.

Breakout teenage star Bukayo Saka has been a breath of fresh air in English football and the 19-year-old has become even more productive in front of goal this season. His output of six goals & six assists already indicates how balanced and complete he is becoming at the top-level.

Club-record signing Nicolas Pepe has endured his ups and downs since arriving at the club for £72m in 2019, but four goals in his last seven Premier League starts is evidence of an upturn in form and confidence. The Ivorian was Arsenal's man of the match last time out against Leicester.

20-year-old English playmaker Emile Smith Rowe has been a vital part of Arsenal's revival after he was handed his first Premier League start of the season against Chelsea on Boxing Day. ESR has four Premier League assists this term, the joint-most (level with Willian) out of anyone at the club.

Arsenal's next assignment comes in the shape of a trip to Turf Moor for Saturday's early kickoff against Sean Dyche's Burnley.
